Abstract

Indonesia has been known as a multicultural country with diverse ethnicities, religions, languages, and traditions. Social reality shows that majority and minority groups often face challenges in maintaining harmonious relationships. This study aimed to analyze the perspectives of Muslims as a minority group in Northwest Citraland Utara, Surabaya Barat, and to examine the pattern of social relations between the Muslim minority and the Christian majority. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach by using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The findings indicate that religious and social life in the area remains harmonious through tolerance, cooperation, and effective communication among residents. The Muslim minority feels accepted and treated equally in social life without discrimination. The study concludes that the relationship between Muslim minorities and Christian majorities reflects an accommodative multicultural practice and a peaceful social coexistence.
